Rochester Rhinos
In 2012 Banks posted one of the most prolific seasons by any midfielder in the history of the club. He led USL PRO in assists with eight – the second best single season total in club history. Banks added five goals for a team leading 18 points. He was selected as the club's Offensive Player of the Year and as the Rhinos Most Valuable Player. Banks earned First Team All-USL PRO honors, and is currently ninth in club history in career assists with 12. He suffered a torn ACL that was diagnosed after Rochester's regular season finale against Pittsburgh.
JC Banks agreed to terms with Rochester in April 2011, and went on to win the Rhinos 2011 Rookie of the Year Award. He scored two goals and added four assists for eight points in the USL PRO regular season. He recorded his first playoff assist in the Rhinos 4:0 USL PRO National Division Semi-Final victory over Pittsburgh at Sahlen’s Stadium. Banks had one goal and one assist in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The Rhinos never lost a match when Banks name appeared on the score sheet in 2011.
College
UW-Green Bay: As a senior he finished the season with 12 goals and 30 points, which ranked 12th and 13th in the nation. His performance earned him NSCAA Second Team Great Lakes All-Region honors as well as being named a College Soccer News Third Team All-American. He was also selected to the All-League First Team. As a junior he was named the Horizon League Player of the Year.
