In Nicht's first year in American soccer he led the USL PRO in clean sheets with 11 – the third best regular season total in club history. He was voted the club's co-Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-USL PRO, and the USL PRO Goalkeeper of the Year after he made 23 starts and posted a 12-7-4 record. He made 88 saves and posted a 0.91 goals against during the regular season.
Professional
Germany: Nicht started his career with the Stuttgart Kickers in the Regionalliga Sud during the 2002-2003 season. He made thirty appearances for a club that finished fifteenth in the division. In his only year with the Kickers they were the runners-up in the Wurttemberg Cup, a regional cup competition.
During the 2003-2004 season Nicht moved to 1.FC Nuremberg where he was a back-up keeper on a club that won the second Bundesliga and won promotion to the Bundesliga.
Nicht established himself as a keeper in his three year stint with Alemannia Aachen from 2004 – 2007. Nicht made sixty appearances for the club and led the team to promotion from the second Bundesliga at the conclusion of the 2005-2006 season. The next season he made eighteen appearances in the Bundesliga, the German top flight. Despite a valiant effort from the newly promoted team, Alemannia Aachen finished seventeenth and was relegated during the 2006-2007 season.
Nicht returned to the German Second Bundesliga from 2009-2011 with Karlsruhe SC. Karlsruhe finished tenth in the second Bundesliga in 2010 and fifteenth in the second Bundesliga in 2011. Norway: After Alemannia Aachen was relegated from the Bundesliga Nicht left the club and joined Viking FK in the Norwegian First Division for the 2008-2009 campaign. Viking FK finished tenth in the First Division and Nicht made twenty appearances for the club.
